ABOUT TWERKMAMA
Welcome to Twerkmama, where passion meets movement! Founded by Manoe, this studio offers a welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds to explore the art of twerking.
With a lifelong passion for dance, Manoe started pole dancing in 2019 and discovered twerking during Lockdown 1.0 in 2020. Through online classes and tutorials, she found new ways of expressing herself through movement.
Driven by a desire to share her love for twerking and empower others, Manoe began teaching twerk classes in studio Polégance in April 2021. The positive response from her students inspired her to establish Twerkmama in September 2021, an online twerk school for everyone.
Recognizing the importance of in-person connection, Manoe expanded her teaching efforts to include her own studio in 2023. Here, she continues to inspire students to embrace their bodies and express themselves through the joy of twerking.
One such student is Babi Rebola, who moved from Brazil to Europe and re-discovered her passion for twerking. Through dedication and practice, Babi eventually became so proficient that she now serves as a twerk instructor at Twerkmama since April 2023. Babi's journey exemplifies the transformative power of twerking and the supportive community fostered at Twerkmama.
In our studio we celebrate the progress of our students and encourage them to embrace the journey of self-expression. While stepping into a twerk class may feel scary at first, we believe in the power of practice and perseverance. As we often say in our classes, "a day not twerked is a day not lived," reminding us that twerking each day brings brightness and vitality to our lives.
